Laguna Farm: Exclusively Using Our Organic Fertilizer

Last month, we brought our guest to a farm in Laguna (southern Luzon, Philippines) for him to see how effective our organic liquid Bio Fertilizer, Bionim Pest Controller and BioProtein Animal drink. 

It was quite a long trip from Manila.  But all worth it.  The Farm was a haven for nature living and self-sustaining farm life. 

Expectedly, as much as we really love the place, our guest was delighted and caught by the sheer relaxing mood of the Farm.  He was surprised that even WITHOUT use of ANY supplementary SYNTHETIC or non-organic chemicals, the vast plantation of varied plants and vegetation would bring about a bountiful and very healthy harvest. The Farm exclusively use our organic products (fertilizer, pest controller and protein drink concentrate).

The farm includes: lettuce, herbs, corn, rice, “amargoso” or “ampalaya” (bitter gourd, bitter melon: sfc name: momordica charantia), papaya, bell pepper, chili, and many others. It was indeed a self-sustaining 100% organic farm.  Lunch served was from the produce of the farm: Tilapia with tausi beans, grilled native chicken, chopsuey with quail egg and the sweet smelling organic rice (I could not help myself but kid that even with just “bagoong Balayan with fresh calamansi” and the rice, meal will be just perfect.  And guess what, the owner overheard and have the Bagoong Balayan (fish sauce from Balayan, Batangas) with calamansi served in an instant.)  

Apart from the vegetation were the usual and unusual backyard animals and fishery: Fly-free doves, quails, big native chicken, rabbits, goats, pigs, wild boars, fighting cocks, tilapia, koi etc. All these are growing very healthy and active.  The hands-on owner emphasized that he only feeds them with organic food (like vegetable and animal feed from rice hull) WITH our organic NaturesBio Protein mixed in their drinking water.  These diet made them grow healthy, and with less fat, especially, for the pigs.

Natures Bio Cleanser: Compost Starter

Garbage disposal has been a big problem for so many years and for so many countries.  It is a worldwide problem! and one can only do so much.  The solution really starts from our own backyards and ways.  That includes “composting” of biodegradable wastes like:

• Kitchen wastes (vegetables; a piece of meat, fish or bread etc.);
• Newspaper and cartons;
• Leaves and grass cuttings;
• Twigs and barks of a tree;
• and other like matters

Anybody can do his own backyard compost.  It is so easy.  All one needs is a place to compost biodegradable waste matters, say:

• A compost bin;
• Plastic barrel;
• Pit;
• Plastic crate;
• Plant box;
• Or even just a pail or plastic container (practical for those living in a condominium unit)

The simplest way to do it is:

• Pick a corner (anywhere) to place you compost bin;
• Layer a ground cover soil in the compost bin;
• Start throwing all your biodegradable wastes in the compost bin;
• Best to add compost starter (NaturesBio Cleanser)
• To keep flies and smell, just cover the new wastes with some soil or a layer of newspaper;
• Important: You may cover the compost bin but leave a space for air.
• Keep the soil moist;
• In few days, all the solid waste matters will be gone and biodegraded, appearing just like the soil.  You may mix the compost with the primer/cover soil.  

How to dispose the compost? 

• Use it as your plant soil;
• Soil refill for potted plants and lawn;
• Share with your neighbor;

Bionim Pest Controller vs. Banana Plant Diseases

 “There is evidence that this disease is probably transmitted by insects visiting the male flowers. The cultivar Pisang Kepok (ABB group) in Indonesia is thought to be highly susceptible because the male flower nectar has high sugar content , making it particularly attractive to insects that spread the bacterium from male bud to male bud. Following this route of infection , blackening and shrivelling of male flowers is frequently found. Then , the bacteria move into the fruit and cause a reddish dry rot of the pulp. Afterwards the bacteria move down into the pseudostem towards the suckers. As the disease progress all leaves became gradually yellow and necrotic (Stover & Espinoza 1992) , then wilt , collapse and hang down. Red to brown necrotic marks are seen towards the centre of the pseudostem and/or peduncle when cut transversely. The male bud below the fruit may ooze droplets , especially from flower and bract scars in those genotypes that shed flowers and bracts.”

5. Apply/spray preferably in the evening hours.

METHOD OF APPLICATION USED:

• REQUIREMENTS:
  20 KILOS RICE SEEDS
  12 -16 LITERS NATURESBIO ORGANIC

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.Soak the seeds over night (12 hours) with NaturesBio liquid organic fertilizer solution 15ml / Gal of water before sowing with the seed bed, or soak the seeds with in 2 hours with pure Natures Bio liquid organic fertilizer solution before sowing.

2.Seed bed must be soft for transplanting advantage. Spray the seedlings with Natures Bio liquid organic fertilizer solutiononce a week until before transplanting.

3.Prepare the rice field by irrigating and flowing the soil, spray the field with NaturesBio solution to condition the soil.

4.On the 15 days transplant the seedlings one by one with 12 inches distance from each other. Let the first and second leaf of your rice seedlings be on top of the soil to give you more tillers and more panicles.

5.Water must be always soil level so that snail will not stay on the rice field instead they will always stay on the side canals of the box field.

6.Always spray with Natures Bio liquid organic fertilizer solution once a week every early morning or late in the afternoon until harvest to give you much more yield and harvest.

7.If you notice insect or fungi, you can mix 15 ml to 1 liter of  Natures Bio liquid organic fertilizer solution.

Grease & Oil on Stove Top: Liquid Organic Cleanser

Previously, I normally use detergents (powdered and liquid), even baking soda and vinegar to remove grease and oil on our stove top, but, they are not as effective and convenient to use as NaturesBio (NBC) Liquid Organic Cleanser.

I just spray-and-wipe the stove top with the dilluted NaturesBio (NBC) Liquid OrganicCleanser and the grease and oil are easily removed. The stove top even shines after. It’s effective, fast and organic — safe even when accidentally taken in!

NaturesBio Liquid Organic Cleanser

From the almost non-stop use of the establishment’s public toilet, the foul odor (from urine) usually reaches up to 10 feet away. For a test, tried spraying the dilluted (10-20ML:1Liter water) NaturesBio Liquid Organic Cleanser (NBC) in the room, toilet bowl and walls. After a few minutes, the smell was TOTALLY GONE! NEUTRALIZED! Used other products, but not as effective as NaturesBio Liquid Organic Cleanser.
